Говоримият език е сред основните средства за комуникация. Съвършеният език би бил ясен, точен и прецизен, с богати изразни възможности и не на последно място красив и приятен за ухото.
Добрата езикова култура е предпоставка за добро изразяване и така за по-висока степен на разбирателство. От друга страна немарливото боравене с речта нарушава протокола като отнема яснотата и прецизността на езика.
Обръщам внимание на думи и изрази от ежедневието, чиято невнимателна употреба създава куп (излишни) затруднения за общуващите страни.

Съжалявам, моля за извинение.
Какво всъщност означава:
Извинявам (гл.)
извиняваш, несв. и извиня, св.
1. Кого. Прощавам за някаква постъпка. Извинете ме за безпокойството. Извиних го за лошото поведение.
2. Кого. Оправдавам за нещо нередно. Извиних го пред учителката.из тълковен речник.
Извинението е отнемане на вина (из-виня). Глаголът е с пряко допълнение – кого извинявам.
Оттам изразът „извинявам се“ се превежда като „прощавам на себе си“ или „снемам вината от себе си“, „оправдавам себе си“.
Прощаването сам на себе си е необичайно. По традиция се иска прошка от този, пред когото сме виновни.
Правилна употреба:
- Съжалявам – употребява се, когато се изпитва жал/тъга от постъпката. Няма отношение към прошката.
- Моля за извинение/прошка – употребява се, като молба за прошка, снемане на вината. Няма отношение към емоциите и чувството на вина.
- Съжалявам, моля за извинение – съчетание от двете.
